Request Your SessionFamily sessions are where my heart lives. After twenty years, I know how to find the light, read the room, and get everyone to that moment where the kids stop performing and your partner forgets to feel awkward.
Our shoot will take place entirely outdoors in the natural settings around Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains. I'll handle the light, the locations, and the direction. You just show up and be your family. That's when the real photos happen.
I will take you somewhere most families never find on their own. Asheville has private gardens, shaded creek paths, and mountain overlooks where the late afternoon light does things you could not plan if you tried. We will choose the setting together, I will guide you through the whole session with specific and warm direction, and your only job is to show up and be yourselves.

45 minutes, $325
One location, in the best light of the day. Forty five minutes is enough time to settle in, find the light, and get the images you will love. This is the session most families book, and it moves at a pace that works whether you have a toddler on your hip or grown kids home for the weekend.
75 minutes, $450
A longer session at one location, with time for a change of clothes and room to photograph every combination you want. The extra thirty minutes also means nobody is watching the clock, which is usually when the best frames happen. A good fit for larger groups, and for walkable locations like the Biltmore or the Arboretum, where we can move through several settings without leaving the grounds.

When the whole family is in town. Engagement parties, milestone birthdays, retirements, graduations, anniversaries, and the gatherings that happen once and then are over. I photograph the room as it actually is: the toasts, the table, the people who flew in, the ones who never sit down.
