Every event has its own energy. My job is to read the room, move with it, and come back with images that feel like the night actually felt, not like a posed record of it.
From your first inquiry to your final gallery, you will be taken care of every step of the way. Every booking includes a pre-planning call so nothing is left to chance. Photography is what you see in the gallery. The experience is everything that gets you there.
Eight years in New York
A trained eye for the moments that matter
Before Asheville, I spent eight years photographing events across New York City and the Hamptons, from intimate family celebrations to corporate galas, large-scale fundraisers, and festival stages. For several of those years I was the photographer the Rockefeller family called for events at their home. I learned to work fast, read a room, and find the moment that mattered whether that was a quiet exchange between two people or the energy of a room in full swing.
That experience shapes how I shoot today. I still love photographing people in motion, in connection, in the middle of something real. The settings have changed. The instinct hasn't.

Personal Events
Reunions, showers, engagement parties, birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, graduations, and the gatherings that happen once and then are over. I photograph the room as it actually is: the toasts, the table, the people who flew in, the ones who never sit down.
